Autumn at Carinya Byron Bay
Stay on a beautiful rural property with sweeping hinterland views, just ten minutes from beaches and Bangalow.
Autumn is one of the best times to visit. Warm days, cooler evenings, golden light across the hills, and space to enjoy Byron without the summer rush. Perfect for a short family getaway or an easy long weekend.
Why Stay in Autumn?
There’s something about this in-between season that suits Carinya perfectly. You can spend the morning at the beach and return to the property in the afternoon without the summer crowds. Mornings are crisp, afternoons stretch out, and evenings are cool enough to sit outside and watch the light fade across the hills.
For families, the rhythm feels easy, time outdoors, space for kids to roam, and quiet evenings together on your private deck. It’s the kind of relaxed that holidays are meant to be.
Designed with Families in Mind
Each of our two-bedroom villas sleeps up to four, with open living that flows onto a private deck overlooking the hills. It’s a comfortable base for a few days away — beach in the morning, space to unwind in the afternoon.
The property itself feels peaceful and tucked away, and farm tours may be available during your stay, depending on weather and availability.
Close to Everything, but Quiet
Located in Talofa, our property is peaceful and private, but close to everything. Byron Bay’s beaches, cafes and restaurants are just 10 minutes away, and charming Bangalow is even closer.
The hinterland setting gives your group a chance to truly unwind, while still being able to pop into town when needed.
Planning to Stay Together?
With six villas on the property, Carinya also works beautifully for extended families or friends travelling together. Each group has their own space, but you’re close enough to share meals and time outdoors.
If you’re considering booking more than one villa for autumn dates, feel free to get in touch to check availability.
